Dubai photo diary

I hope you've had an awesome week so far! As I told in my last post, I went to some place warm and if you didn't notice from the title of this post, that place was Dubai. I came back to Finland last night and since I didn't have any post scheduled for today, I thought that a photo diary would be nice! I was also planning to do a post about things to do in Dubai so tell me in the comments if you would be interested about that!


//Toivottavasti sun viikko on mennyt hyvin tähän asti! Niinkuin tuli viime postauksessa mainittua, menin matkalle jonnekin lämpimään ja mikäli otsikko jäi huomaamatta niin paikkahan oli Dubai. Saavuin viime yönä takaisin Suomeen ja ajattelin heti jakaa vähän kuvia reissulta. Suunnitelmissa oli myös postauksen teko jutuista mitä kannattaa tehdä Dubaissa, joten jos kyseinen postaus kiinnostaa sua, kerrothan sen mulle kommenteissa!

Escaping the cold

Greetings from a lot warmer place than the one in these pictures and no, I'm not talking about my home. These pictures were taken over a week ago in the freezing Helsinki. Even though it looks pretty with all the snow and stuff I couldn't handle the cold and took a trip to some place where it's really warm. Can you guess where I went? If not, you'll find out in my next post!


//Terveisiä jostain paljon lämpimämmästä paikasta kuin näissä kuvissa oleva ja ei, en puhu kodin lämmöstä. Nää kuvat on otettu hieman yli viikko sitten jäätävän kylmissä olosuhteissa. Vaikka Suomi onkin nyt kaunis lumineen kaikkineen, en kestänyt kylmyyttä ja otin matkan jonnekin lämpimään. Osaatko arvata minne? Jos et, niin seuraavasta postauksesta selviää!

It's cold outside

Here's some pictures from last week. It's so cold that this green coat has been the only one I've been able to wear lately. Underneath it, I wore a white shirt dress, black therma leggings and over the knee boots. I added a little hint of pink too with my scarf and the bag and I think it works quite nicely in this outfit.


//Tässä olis muutama asukuva viime viikolta. Ulkona on sen verran kylmä, että kyseinen takki on ainoa jota olen pystynyt käyttämään viime aikoina. Tällä kertaa kyseisen takin alta löytyi valkoinen paitamekko, mustat therma leggingsit ja ylipolvensaappaat. Lisäsin ripauksen vaaleanpunaista huivin ja laukun muodossa ja mun mielestä se käykin ihan kivasti tähän asuun.

A bit different kind of outfit pictures this time. I have to say that taking these pictures were really stepping out of my comfort zone. Sara and I had to choose between taking outfit pictures outside in the freezing cold or inside a cozy cafe taking the risk that people would stare at us while doing so. As you can see, we did the latter, but I think the pics turned out quite nice even though there wasn't enough room to capture the whole outfit in one pic.

As for my outfit of the day, I wore a beige turtle neck together with a lovely faux suede bow turban from Brothersandsisters.biz. I combined them with black wide leg trousers, ankle boots and my LV pochette felicie bag.



//Tässä olis vähän erilaisia asukuvia vaihteeksi. Näiden kuvien ottaminen oli kyllä ovan mukavuusalueen ulkopuolella käymistä. Meidän piti Saran kanssa valita, jäädytäänkö ulkona kylmässä kuvia ottaessa vai otetaanko ne kahvilan mukavassa lämmössä ja tunnelmassa ottaen se riski että muut tuijottaa meitä. Niin kuin kuvista näkyy, päädyttiin jälkimmäiseen vaihtoehtoon ja mun mielestä näistä kuvista tuli todella kivat, vaikkakin koko asu oli mahdotonta saada mahtumaan yhteen kuvaan. 

Asuna toimi pooloneule yhdessä Brothersandsisters.biz:in tekomokkaisen rusetti turbaanin kanssa. Yhdistin ne mustiin leveälahkeisiin housuihin, nilkkureihin ja LV pochette felicie laukkuun.

L'Occitane Aqua Réotier review

In the end of last year I received a really nice and generous package from L'Occitane. I got 8 products in total from 2 different ranges and in this post I'm reviewing the products that I got from their Aqua réotier range.

The first time I used this, I accidentally used it too much and inhaled it a bit. A little amount goes a long way with this product which is a good thing since you can use it for longer. It makes your face feel really fresh and clean so I would say that it does it's job.

Ensimmäistä kertaa kyseistä tuotetta testatessa hengitin sitä itseasiassa vahingossa sisään, sillä levitin hieman liikaa tuotetta kasvoille. Tän putsarin kanssa siis riittää todella pienikin määrä, mikä on vain hyvä juttu, meinaan tällä tavoin tuote riittää pitkään. Saa kasvot tuntumaan freesiltä ja puhtaalta, elikkä tekee hyvin tehtävänsä.

Aqua réotier moisture prep essence & ultra thirst quenching gel
These two products are meant to be used together, the prep gel is supposed to boost the moisturizing effect of the ultra thirst quenching gel. I feel like these products are really moisturizing as promised, which I really love! These two products leaves my face feeling really hydrated and soft.

Nämä kaksi tuotetta on tarkoitettu käytettäväksi yhdessä. Prep essence hoitoneste tehostaa ultra thirst quenching geelin kosteuttavaa vaikutusta. Nämä kaksi tuotetta todella täyttää lupauksensa kosteuttavuuden puolesta. Kyseiset tuotteet saa mun ihon tuntumaan todella kosteutetulta ja pehmeältä!

Aqua réotier fresh moisturizing mist
Face mists are actually quite a new thing for me but I really like this one. I don't use it every day, just every now and then when I feel like my face needs a little bit of freshing up. This will be such a must have product for summer since using it feels so refreshing!

Kasvosuihkeet on mulle suht uusi juttu, mutta tästä kyllä tykkään! En käytä kyseistä tuotetta päivittäin vaan ennemminkin silloin tällöin kun kasvot tuntuu kaipaavan pientä freesausta. Tää tuote on ihan must kesällä, meinaan kasvosuihke saa koko olemuksen tuntumaan välittömästi paljon raikkaammalta!

My yesterday's outfit wasn't the smartest choice for the weather and I ended up having to change the shoes later on but aren't the sporty vibes of this outfit just super nice? The sneakers would actually work quite well in a bit harder snow since they fall in to that trendy ''dad sneaker'' category so your feet won't get cold. To be honest at first when this dad sneaker trend started I hated it! Like really hated it and I still do not like the really big and bulky looking ones, but these ones are quite nice. What do you think about this shoe trend?


//Mun eilinen asu ei ehkä ollut se kaikkein paras sään kannalta ja jouduinkin myöhemmin vaihtamaan kengät, mutta eikö tää asu sporttisine elementteineen ollutkin aika kiva? Kyseiset lenkkarit toimii muuten hyvin talvellakin, kunhan maassa ei ole puuterilunta, meinaan nää on malliltaan edelleenkin todella in olevat ''iskä lenkkarit'' joten jalat pysyy lämpimänä. Totta puhuen inhosin kyseistä kenkä trendiä aluksi todella paljon. En edelleenkään tykkää yhtään niistä kaikkein isoimmista malleista, mutta nää on ihan kivat. Mitäs mieltä sä oot kyseisestä trendistä?

What I wore last week

Work outfit

Here's my outfit from yesterday. I usually only take outfit pictures on the days that I'm not working, but yesterday was an exception. I wore a striped floral shirt dress with over the knee boots, black coat and a black bag. I really love how versatile the shirt dress is and in my opinion it can easily be worn all year around. What do you think about this outfit?


//Tässä olis kuvia eilisestä asusta. En yleensä ota asukuvia niinä päivinä kun mulla on töitä, mutta eilinen oli poikkeus. Päälle päätyi kukallinen paitamekko, jonka yhdistin ylipolvensaappaisiin, mustaan takkiin ja mustaan laukkuun. Mä tykkään niin paljon siitä, miten monikäyttöinen kyseinen paitamekko on, kukkakuosista huolimatta se menee mun mielestä hyvin ympäri vuoden. Mitäs pidät tästä asusta?
