Monochromatic vibes

Here's my outfit from yesterday. I went to have some coffee with Sara and as usual we took few pics as well. I was supposed to wear a totally different outfit, but then got the idea for this outfit at the very last minute. I really like this almost all grey look and I guess that you really can't go wrong with a monochromatic outfit. What do you think?

Olin suunnitellut ihan toisenlaisen asun eilistä varten, mutta sain idean tähän asuun viime hetkellä. Tykkäänkin todella paljon tästä melkein kokoharmaasta asusta, yksivärisen asun kanssa (tai tässä tapauksessa lähes yksivärisen) ei vaan niin helposti mene vikaan. Mitäs sä pidät tästä asusta?

2018 Highlights

This year is quickly coming to it's end and I thought that it would be fun to share my highlights from this year with you!


• My trip to Spain, Gibraltar and Morocco with Imran in January. One of my goals for the year was to travel as much as possible and I thought that this would be my only trip but turned out it wasn't.

• Moving back to the Netherlands for half of the year in the end of January.

• Imran and I going for a mini get away to Lille, France in February. This was such an extempore trip and so much fun!

• Going to Krakow with my mom in April.




//Tää vuosi on melkein lopullaan, joten ajattelin että olisi kiva jakaa teidän kanssa jotain mun tän vuoden kohokohtia. 

• Tammikuun Espanjan, Gibraltarin ja Marokon matka Imranin kanssa. Yks mun tän vuoden tavoitteista oli matkustaa niin paljon kuin mahdollista. Luulin tän olevan kuitenkin vuoden ainoa matka, mutta kyseinen luulo osoittautuikin vääräksi.

• Tammikuun lopulla takaisin Hollantiin puoleksi vuodeksi muuttaminen. 

• Mun ja Imranin mini matka Lilleen, Ranskaan. Tää oli aika viime hetken päähänpisto, mutta tosi hyvä sellainen.

• Krakovan matka äidin kanssa.

• One of the coolest things I did this year was going to the over the edge swing in Amsterdam! I wanted to do it last year already, but wasn't able to do it then. I was so happy to go there last summer, it was so much fun and definitely worth going to if you are visiting Amsterdam!

• Our trip to Italy in June/July! This also came quite last minute and was really fun!

• Getting a new job

• Buying my first ever Louis Vuitton bag. This one might sound a bit weird, but I had been dreaming about buying a LV bag for so many years that it really had to be added to this list.




//• Yks siisteimmistä jutuista tänä vuonna oli over the edge swing Amsterdamissa kesällä. Halusin mennä sinne jo viime vuonna, mutta se ei ollut silloin mahdollista. Viime kesänä kuitenkin pääsin keinumaan 100 metrisen rakennuksen reunalta  ja voin suositella kaikille Amsterdamiin matkaaville!

• Italian matka kesä-heinäkuussa. Tää tuli kanssa aika viime hetkellä, mutta oli myös todella kiva matka!

• Uus työpaikka

• Mun ihka ensimmäisen Louis Vuitton laukun osto. Tää voi ehkä jollekin kuulostaa hassulta, mutta olin unelmoinut LV laukun hankkimisesta jo todella monta vuotta, joten se oli pakko lisätä tähän listaan. 

Winter wonderland

Here's a bit more relaxed and wintery outfit from Saturday. We finally got some snow that actually stayed on the ground and even though I'm not a huge fan of winter, I'm actually quite happy about the snow. The reason for that is, that it really brings some light in to the darkness of Finnish winter. I also have to admit that the snowy background looks nice on the pictures! What do you think about this super wintery outfit?


//Tässä olis vähän rennompaa talviasua lauantailta. Vihdoinkin saatiin lunta, mikä oikeesti myös jäi maahan ja vaikken olekaan mikään suurin talven ystävä, niin tää lumi sai mut kyllä iloseks. Syy tähän on se, että se tuo jotenkin niin kivasti valoa muuten niin synkkään Suomen talveen. Ja näyttäähän toi luminen maisema myös kivalta kuvissa! Mitäs mieltä oot tästä super talvisesta asusta?

3 Ways to style a midi skirt - look #3

It was my friend Sara's birthday yesterday and since mine is in the end of the month we decided to celebrate them together like we did last year. We went to the movies to watch the Nutcracker and the Four Realms and we got so lucky that we were the only ones in that theatre.

I wore my snake skirt and this will actually be the last outfit post for my 3 ways to style a midi skirt series. This time I paired it with some heeled ankle boots, a white sweater and a grey scarf.

//Saralla oli synttärit eilen ja koska mun synttärit on kuun lopussa, päätettiin viettää molempien synttäreitä samalla, niinkuin tehtiin viime vuonnakin. Mentiin elokuviin katsomaan Pähkinänsärkijä ja neljä valtakuntaa ja oltiin sen verran onnekkaita että saatiin koko sali itsellemme.

Päälle päätyi käärmekuosinen hame ja tää tuleekin olemaan mun vika asu 3 tapaa pukea midi hame sarjaan. Tällä kertaa hameen kaveriksi päätyi korolliset nilkkurit, valkoinen neule ja harmaa huivi.

Go-to winter outfit

Last Thursday Sara and I went to the city centre, since we wanted to take some pictures in front of this cute carousel that they have there alongside the christmas market that is taking place right now. We also checked the market out really quickly, but it was way too crowded for us, so we headed to an Espresso House nearby.

I also didn't feel like carrying my DSLR with me so these outfit pictures have been taken with my iPhone. I would like to hear your thoughts on outfit pics like this! Do you think it's okay to take outfit pictures with a phone from time to time or should I just stick to the DSLR?

I had my outfit planned at least a week ahead. This outfit has definitely been one of my go-to outfits lately! The grey sweater dress isn't only super cute, but it's also super warm. Combined with thermal leggings and over the knee boots I just know that I can handle the cold weather without a problem. I really love outfits like this where I don't need to compromise my style in order to stay warm.




//Viime torstaina käytiin Saran kanssa keskustassa, sillä haluttiin ottaa kuvia Tuomaan markkinoiden karusellin edessä. Kierrettiin myös nopeasti markkinoita läpi, mutta siellä oli ihan liian täyttä, joten mentiin mielummin Espresso Houseen kahville. 

En myöskään jaksanut tällä kertaa ottaa järkkäriä mukaan, joten kyseiset asukuvat on otettu kännykällä. Olisikin kiva kuulla mitä mieltä sä oot tälläisistä kuvista! Onko sun mielestä ok ottaa asukuvat kännykällä silloin tällöin, vai pitäisikö pitäytyä pelkästään järkkärissä?

Olin muuten valinnut kyseisen asun jo ainakin viikko etukäteen. Tää on ollut mun ehdoton luotto asu viime aikoina. Harmaa neulemekko ei ole ainoastaan söpö vaan se on myös todella lämmin. Yhdistettynä vielä lämpöleggingseihin ja ylipolvensaappaisiin on kylmässä säässä selviytyminen taattu! Tykkään niin paljon tälläisistä asuista, missä ei tarvitse tehdä kompromissia tyylin ja lämpimänä pysymisen välillä!

//Ajattelin että olisi kiva jakaa minkälaisia juttuja kannan yleensä mukana mun Louis Vuitton Pochette Felicie laukussa, sillä oon käyttänyt kyseistä laukkua niin paljon siitä lähtien kun sen ostin. Ehkä tästä on myös hyötyä jollekin kuka harkitsee kyseisen laukun ostamista ja miettii minkälaisia juttuja siihen mahtuu. 

5x My favourite cafes in Helsinki

Few months ago I did a post about some hotspots in Amsterdam and I thought it would be nice to share some of my favourite cafes here in Helsinki. These are not in a specific order except the first one.


Espresso House
Espresso House is my #1 favourite coffee place in Helsinki. They have cafes almost everywhere here these days so it's not hard to find one and all of their cafes have the same cozy vibe which I really like! Espresso House has such a large selection of different kind of special coffees that I bet everyone can find something that they like.


Robert's Coffee
At Robert's Coffee they have also a great selection of special coffees which I really like. The selection of food and the interior/inside vibes depends from cafe to cafe and my favourite is the one at the shopping mall Redi.




//Muutama kuukausi sitten tein postauksen Amsterdamin hotspoteista ja ajattelinkin nyt jakaa muutaman suosikki kahvilan täältä Helsingistä. Ensimmäistä lukuunottamatta kaikki on satunnaisessa järjestyksessä.


Espresso House 
Espresso House on mun ihan lemppari kahvila Helsingissä! Kahviloita löytyy nykyään lähes joka nurkalta ja kaikissa on sama kivan kotoisa tunnelma! Espresso Housesta löytyy myös todella laaja valikoima erilaisia erikoiskahveja, joten kaikille löytyy varmasti jotakin. 


Robert's Coffee
Robert's Coffeelta löytyy myös kivan laaja valikoima erilaisia kahveja mikä on todella kiva. Sisustus ja syömiset vaihtelee tosin kahviloittain ja mun lemppariksi onkin osoittautunut Redistä löytyvä Robert's Coffee.

Fazer Cafe
If you like Fazer's chocolate but you have never tasted the cafe mocha they have at the Fazer Cafe, you need to do that right now! Their mocha has the same kind of flavour as their dark chocolate does and that's just so delicious!


Paulig Kulma
Good coffee and nice raw cake! Do I even need to say more?


Cafe Esplanad
I feel like this is the place to go during the warmer weathers since they have really nice seating outside. The coffee they serve is also really good and reasonably priced especially if you take the location in to consideration.




//Fazer Cafe
Jos tykkäät Fazerin suklaasta, niin Fazer Cafesta saatava cafe mocha on ehdottomasti kokeilun arvoinen! Siinä on samanlainen maku kuin Fazerin tummassa suklaassa ja se on vaan niin hyvää!


Paulig Kulma
Hyvää kahvia ja raakakakkua! Tarviiko edes muuta sanoa?


Cafe Esplanad
Tää on mun mielestä ehkä enemmän lämpimämpien säiden paikka, sillä tykkään enemmän Cafe Esplanadin ulko istumapaikoista. Hyvää kahvia kohtuu hinnalla, varsinkin kun ottaa sijainnin huomioon. 

3 Ways to style a midi skirt - look #2

Time for the second look of my 3 ways to style a midi skirt series! This time I decided to style the skirt with a bunch of my favourite color, pink! I wore it with pink coat, pink sweater and pink scarf. I finished the look with a black bag and black ankle boots. In my opinion the pink goes really nicely with the snakeskin pattern, what do you think?


//Tässä olisi toinen asu mun 3 tapaa stailata midi hame sarjaan! Tällä kertaa päätin yhdistää hameen vähän isompaan ripaukseen mun lempi väriä, vaaleanpunaista! Päälle päätyi siis hameen kaveriksi vaaleanpunainen takki, neule ja huivi. Viimeistelin asun vielä mustalla laukulla ja mustilla nilkkureilla. Mun mielestä vaaleanpunainen menee tosi kivasti kyseisen käärmeennahka printin kanssa, mitä mieltä sä oot?
