Dubai photo diary #3

Time for the last Dubai photo diary! It's been already 2 months since we came back, but there were just so many pictures I wanted to post. The pictures in this post are from Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall and the Global Village. The view from the Burj Khalifa was amazing, I don't think the pictures do it justice. The Global Village was also amazing and you can easily spend hours there just walking around and maybe doing some shopping as well.

//Viimeisen Dubai kuvapäiväkirjan aika! Siitä onkin jo 2 kuukautta kun palattiin Dubaista, matkalla tuli vaan otettua niin paljon kuvia, jotka halusin jakaa blogin puolella. Tässä postauksessa olevat kuvat on otettu Burj Khalifasta, Dubai mallilta ja the Global Villagesta. Näkymät Burj Khalifasta on aivan upeat, eikä ne pääse kuvissa oikeuksiinsa. The Global Village oli myös todella kiva paikka, missä vierähtää helposti useampi tunti kävellessä ja shoppaillessa.

Pink for Spring

What an amazing weather we had on the weekend! On Saturday we went to walk and do a bit of  shopping at the city centre. After that we took a train to another city where we went to eat at Vapiano. I feel like these kind of warmer sunny spring days are really able to get me smile and just making me happy overall. I'm so much more of a spring and summer person than autumn or winter, so maybe that's why. What about you, which season is your favourite?


//Saatiin taas kerran viikonloppuna nauttia mitä ihanimmasta säästä! Lauantaina käytiin kävelemässä ja shoppailemassa keskustassa. Myöhemmin otettiin juna toiseen kaupunkiin, missä mentiin Vapianoon syömään. Nää lämpimämmät aurinkoiset kevätsäät saa mut jotenkin ihan super hyvälle tuulelle. Oon todellakin enemmän kevät- ja kesäihminen kuin syys tai talvi, ehkä siinä syy. Mites siellä ruudun toisella puolella, mikä on sun lempi vuodenaika?

Denim & snake print

I hope you've had an amazing week so far. We got to enjoy some really nice sunny weather on Sunday and we took advantage of it by going for a little walk to the city centre. I wore my denim jacket after a long time together with a beige turtleneck sweater and a snake print midi skirt. Wearing over the knee boots with the skirt was a mistake though, even though I like the look, it was just way too hot to wear them on that day. Other than that I think this was a nice spring day outfit, should have just worn some loafers instead of the boots.


//Toivottavasti sun viikko on mennyt hyvin tähän asti. Täällä oli sunnuntaina tosi kiva keväinen sää ja otettiinkin siitä ilo irti menemällä keskustaan kävelemään. Päälle päätyi pitkästä aikaa farkkutakki yhdistettynä neuleeseen ja käärmekuosiseen midihameeseen. Oli tosin virhe laittaa ylipolvensaappaat, vaikka ne kivalta näyttääkin kyseisen hameen kanssa, niillä tuli ihan liian kuuma. Tää olikin mun mielestä tosi kiva kevät asu, saappaat vaan olis pitänyt vaihtaa loafereihin.

Dinner outfit

Looking at the weather forecast, I truly hope that now I can finally put all the winter things away to wait for the next winter and start wearing more spring stuff. I wore this outfit for a dinner a bit over a week ago. I can't find myself getting over snake print any time soon, I just like it so much and I think it's super versatile too. This time I combined the snake print shirt dress with my grey wool coat and some over the knee boots. What do you think about this dinner outfit?


//Säätietoja katsoessa toivon todella, että nyt vihdoinkin voin jättää kaikki talvikamppeet odottamaan ensi talvea ja siirtyä keväisempiin vaatteisiin. Tää kyseinen asu oli päällä vähän yli viikko sitten kun käytiin Imranin kanssa ulkona syömässä. Oon ihan super tykästynyt käärmekuosiin, mun mielestä se sopii vaan niin monen jutun kanssa yhteen. Tällä kertaa yhdistin tän käärmekuosisen paitamekon harmaaseen villakangastakkiin ja ylipolvensaappaisiin. Mitäs pidät tästä asusta?

3 Spring trends I love / hate

Dubai photo diary #2

It's been already about one and a half months since I got back from Dubai but I still have tons of pictures left. This was actually supposed to be the last Dubai photo diary, but while editing the pictures for this post, I thought that 30 photos in one post could be a bit too much so there's still one photo diary to come. These pictures are from one of Dubai's must visit places, Dubai Miracle Garden. It was my second time visiting the Miracle Garden and I would highly suggest going there!


//Dubain matkasta on kulunut jo noin puolitoista kuukautta, mutta kuvia riittää vielä. Tän pitikin olla viimeinen Dubai kuvapäiväkirja, mutta kuvia editoidessa aloin miettimään, että 30 kuvaa yhdessä postauksessa voisi olla hieman liikaa. Näin ollen yksi kuvapäiväkirja olisi luvassa vielä tämän jälkeen. Nämä kaikki kuvat on yhdestä Dubain ''must visit'' paikoista, Dubai Miracle Gardenista. Mulle tää oli jo toinen kerta kyseisessä paikassa ja en voi muuta kuin suositella!
