Winter uniform

I think this is one of my favourite outfits this winter so far. I love the combo of the oatmeal colored sweater dress, light pink shawl and the turban! I just think the outfit looks really chic and you can't really go wrong with an outfit like this. The best part was that it was also super comfy and it kept me really warm as well. The sweater dress is really warm and over the knee boots also always gives that little bit of extra warmness so they are both definitely essential pieces in my winter wardrobe.

//Tää on luultavasti mun henkilökohtainen lemppari mun tähän astisista talvi asuista. Kaurapuuron värisen neulemekon sekä vaaleanpunaisen huivin ja turbaanin yhdistelmä iskee muhun vaan todella. Mun mielestä tää asu näyttääkin tosi tyylikkäältä, eikä tälläisellä talviasulla voi mennä vikaan. Parasta tietenkin, että asu on myös ihan super mukava päällä lämmöstä tinkimättä. Kyseinen neulemekko on todella lämmin ja ylipolvensaappaat tuo myös hieman extra lämpöä, joten molemmat on kyllä mun talvivaatekaapin luottotuotteita!

Where is the snow?

I don't know if I'm going crazy or what but I actually wish we had some snow already. We only have few hours of daylight every day and it's just so grey outside. I feel like the snow would make it feel just a bit less dark and more prettier. It would of course also look nice in pictures as well, so there's one more reason why I wish we would get snow soon.


//En tiedä oonko tulossa hulluksi, mutta toivoisin että ulkona olis jo lunta. Tähän aikaan vuodesta tulee pimeää niin aikaisin ja ylipäätään kaikki näyttää vaan niin harmaalta. Lumi toisi ainakin hieman lisää valoa tohon pimeyteen ja näyttäisi myös kivemmalta. Se näyttää toki myös kivalta kuvissa, joten siinäkin yks syy lisää toivoa, että saatais kohta lunta tänne.

Our home in pictures

In this post from 2 weeks ago I showed you my favourite bits of our home. I thought that today I would show you our home a bit better with these pictures. I'm actually quite happy with how it looks, but one thing that I don't like at all are the floors. Unfortunately that's not something I can fix, so we'll just have to deal with them. I also think I want to bring a bit more color here in the future, maybe by adding some colorful pillows or something like that on the sofa and the bed. We'll see when that will happen. What do you think about our home?

Oon suht tyytyväinen siihen miltä meidän koti näyttää tällä hetkellä, tosin lattioista en tykkää yhtään. Niille en kuitenkaan voi tehdä mitään, joten näillä mennään. Haluan mahdollisesti myös vähän lisää väriä meidän asuntoon, esimerkiksi lisäämällä värikkäitä tyynyjä niin sohvalle kuin sängylle. Mitäs sä pidät meidän asunnosta? 

Pink winter

The new week is here and I have spent a bit over a week already with a flu. I'm finally getting better now! I'm so glad that I had these pictures to share from a few weeks ago, since otherwise I wouldn't have had anything to post today.

I really like the pink coat in person, but sometimes it looks quite bulky in pictures for some reason. I don't know if it's because of that coat or what, but I think the outfit looked a bit better in person. I think the outfit looks more like it did in person in this video. What do you think about this look?



//Hyvää alkanutta viikkoa! Mä oon ollut flunssan kourissa hieman yli viikon, mutta nyt se on vihdoinkin menossa parempaan päin. Onneksi mulla oli kuitenkin nää asukuvat muutaman viikon takaa varastossa, meinaan muuten olis jäänyt postaus tekemättä. 

Tykkään tosta vaaleanpunaisesta takista todella paljon livenä, mutta jostain syystä se näyttää usein kuvissa tosi isolta. Tää asu olikin musta todellisuudessa kivempi kuin kuvissa, en tiedä onko syy tossa takissa vai missä, mutta tällä videolla kyseinen asu pääseekin mun mielestä paremmin oikeuksiinsa. I hope you've had a nice week so far. My week hasn't looked as happy as these pictures. On Sunday evening my throat started hurting and on Monday I woke up having a flu. So this week I've just tried to rest and get better. On another note, I really like these pictures, I just think the whole vibe as well as the outfit is really nice. What do you think?


//Toivottavasti sun viikko on sujunut hyvin tähän asti. Mun viikko ei oo näyttänyt yhtä iloiselta kuin nää kuvat. Sunnuntai iltana mun kurkku alkoi tuntua kipeältä ja maanantaina heräsinkin sitten flunssassa. Tää viikko onkin siis mennyt lähinnä levätessä ja itseä parannellessa. Aiheesta toiseen, tykkään näistä kuvista jotenkin tosi paljon, jotenkin koko kuvien fiilis ja asu on mun mielestä vaan tosi kivat. Mitä mieltä sä oot?

Baby it's cold outside

It feels like it's getting colder and colder in Finland, which of course is quite usual this time of the year. I just feel like this year for some reason I really can't handle the cold. I don't know if it's because I was in Germany during the summer where it was sometimes even 38°C degrees warm or what but the winter just feels colder than before. Even if I manage to dress warm enough, my face will still freeze and sometimes the cold weather hurts my throat as well. Have you experienced the same this year or is it just me?


//Tuntuu että säät vaan kylmenee kylmenemistään, mikä on tietysti normaalia tähän aikaan vuodesta. Musta vaan tuntuu, että tänä vuonna en vaan kestä kylmyyttä yhtään. En tiedä johtuuko se Saksassa vietetystä kesästä, siellä kun oli välillä jopa 38°C astetta lämmintä. Joka tapauksessa tää alkanut talvi on tuntunut ihan super kylmältä aiempiin verrattuna. Vaikka onnistuisin pukeutumaan muuten tarpeeksi lämpimästi, niin vähintään naama jäätyy silti ja välillä kylmyys tuntuu myös kurkussa inhottavasti. Onko sulla ollut samanlaisia kokemuksia tänä talvena vai oonko yksin tän tunteen kanssa?

What I wear in a week

My favourite things in our new home

I thought that I'd share few of my favourite things in our new home with you! We got everything pretty much ready here now and the apartment is starting to feel like home now!

//Ajattelin jakaa teille muutamia mun lempi juttuja meidän uudesta kodista. Kaikki on saatu aikalailla valmiiksi nyt ja tää asunto alkaa vihdoinkin myös tuntua kodilta! 

The whole ''home office corner'' is one of my fave, but especially this thing on the wall (does anyone have any idea what it's called?). Ever since I started seeing these on pinterest like ages ago I've been wanting one and now I finally have it.

//Periaatteessa koko meidän pieni ''kotitoimisto nurkkau'' on yks mun lemppareista, mutta varsinkin tää seinällä oleva ''ilmoitustaulu'' (onko kellään mitään ideaa mikskä tota kutsutaan?) Oon halunnut tollasen siitä lähtien kun näin noita ensimmäisen kerran pinterestissä joskus aikoja sitten ja nyt vihdoinkin sain myös hankittua semmoisen. 

I've been dreaming about this piece for many years. If you don't know, I'm a huge Gossip Girl fan and when I first saw a version of this on Gossip Girl, I've been dreaming of getting one for my own home. Thanks to Desenio* (*got it through Instagram collab) I finally have one!

Jos et vielä ole tietoinen asiasta, niin mä oon kunnon Gossip Girl fani ja siitä lähtien kun näin Gossip Girlissä vastaavan taulun, oon halunnut samanlaisen omaan kotiin. I absolutely love this lamp! I just think it's super cute and gives a nice vibe to our bedroom!

This light bulb lamp thing makes the bedroom look super cozy so obviously love it!

Last but not least is our pink toaster and water boiler. I just love the color so much!

//Viimeisimpänä muttei vähäisimpänä on meidän vaaleanpunainen leivänpaahdin ja vedenkeitin. Tykkään näiden väristä vaan niin paljon! 

Changes

As you might know, I have 2 youtube channels, one for vlogs and another one for fashion & other kind of videos. Few days ago I asked on Instagram if I should keep the channels separate or start uploading all my videos on one channel and most people voted to only upload on one channel and that's what I'll do. I'm not sure yet if this will change anything here on the blog, it depends on what kind of upload schedule I'll end up with on youtube. Anyways, I just wanted to inform about this incase there will be some changes on what I post and on which day.


//Niinkuin saatatkin tietää, mulla on youtubessa kaksi kanavaa, yksi vlogeille ja yksi muoti yms sisältöä varten. Pari päivää sitten kysyin instagramissa mielipiteitä siihen, yhdistäisinkö kanavat vai pidänkö ne erillään. Suurin osa oli yhdistämisen kannalla ja näin päätinkin sitten tehdä. En ole vielä ihan varma vaikuttaako tämä muutos blogiin millään tavalla, riippuu hieman siitä, miten päädyn julkaisemaan videot youtubessa. Halusin kuitenkin ilmoittaa tästä muutoksesta täällä, mikäli mun torstaiset ja sunnuntaiset postaukset sattuvat vaihtamaan paikkaa.
