Pink sneakers

As I mentioned in this post, I've pretty much been living in shirt dresses (and over the knee boots) this winter. Well this time I decided to change the boots for my favourite sneakers and make the outfit look way more casual. Now that spring is coming, I think I'll be wearing these sneakers a lot more, since I really like how they look. I really like the not too sporty looking style as well as the super cute color! What do you think?


//Niinkuin tässä postauksessa mainitsin, on tän talven luottoasuna toiminut paitamekko (ja ylipolvensaappaat). Tällä kertaa paitamekko yhdistyi saappaiden sijaan mun lempi lenkkareihin, mikä teki asukokonaisuudesta astetta rennomman. Nyt kun kevät on tulossa niin pääsen toivon mukaan käyttämään näitä lenkkareita enemmän, tykkään meinaan niistä todella paljon. Mun mielestä niiden ei niin sporttinen malli on todella kiva, puhumattakaan ihan super söpöstä väristä! Mitäs mieltä sä oot?

Get ready with me for my husband's birthday

The perfect skirt for spring

Even though this is only the second time I'm sharing outfit pictures with this knit skirt, I've been using it a lot since I got it. It's really comfy and it's also pretty warm as well. I think it's perfect for this time of the year as well as for spring when the weather starts to get warmer. I think it looks really nice combined with over the knee boots, but it will also work well with loafers or ballerinas in spring. Do you like knit skirts?


//Vaikka tää onkin vasta toinen kerta kun kyseinen hame näkyy asukuvissa, on se siitä huolimatta ollut jo monta kertaa käytössä. Kyseinen hame on tosi mukava päällä ja se on myös kivan lämmin. Se onkin ihan täydellinen tän hetkisiin säihin, kuin myös kevään lämpeneviin ilmoihin. Mun mielestä kyseinen hame menee tosi kivasti ylipolvensaappaiden kanssa, mutta voisin myös kuvitella käyttäväni sitä loafereiden tai ballerinojen kanssa keväällä. Mitä mieltä sä oot neulehameista?

Shirt dresses and over the knee boots

Here's an outfit that I've been wearing almost daily lately. I mean not this exact same outfit, but really similar ones. I've basically been living in over the knee boots and shirt dresses this whole winter. I just change the shirt dress as well as my coat, scarf and bag. As I've mentioned many times, I just find shirt dresses so easy and I think this leopard pattern one that I got last month goes really well with the pink coat, bag and scarf. What do you think about shirt dresses and this outfit?


//Tässä on asu joka on ollut päällä lähes päivittäin viime aikoina. Okei, ei ehkä ihan tasan sama asu, mutta samanlainen. Tuntuu, että viime aikoina päältä on löytynyt paitamekko ylipolvensaappaisiin yhdistettynä todella monta kertaa. Asuissa toki vaihtelee niin itse paitamekko kuin myös päältä löytyvät takki, huivi ja laukku. Niinkuin oon moneen otteeseen maininnut, niin mun mielestä paitamekot on vaan niin helppoja vaatteita. Tää kyseinen leopardi kuosinen yksilö sopii mun mielestä tosi hyvin pinkin takin, huivin ja laukun kanssa. Tykkäätkö sä paitamekoista ja mitä mieltä oot tästä asusta?

Quality over quantity

I've wanted to do something for a really really long time, but somehow I still haven't quite gotten there. I'd like to buy less clothes but with better quality. I think that over the past few years I've learned quite well what I actually like and what I don't and for that reason, I've bought less things that I end up not using at all. However, now I think it's really time to start focusing more on buying clothes that are actually good quality and will last years after years.

That's easier said than done though since price doesn't always tell that much about the quality of a product. I've bought some surprisingly good quality pieces from stores like Primark that have lasted me years and I've also bought some more expensive things that ended up being really bad quality. Instead of saying that I'm not going to buy anything from fast fashion brands anymore, I'll pay more attention on materials and the finishing of the product. I'll try to buy more from stores that I believe to sell better quality clothes in general but I think it would be unrealistic if I said I'm never going to buy anything from a fast fashion store again.



//Oon halunnut tehdä yhden jutun jo pitkään, mutta jostain syystä en vaan oo vieläkään päässyt siihen pisteeseen. Haluaisin meinaan ostaa vähemmän, mutta parempi laatuisia vaatteita. Viime vuosina oon oppinut suht hyvin millaisista vaatteista oikeesti tykkään ja millaisista taas en ja sen ansiosta oon välttynyt monelta hutiostokselta. Kuitenkin nyt olis aika kiinnittää enemmän huomiota myös vaatteiden laatuun ja ostaa sellaisia juttuja jotka säilyy monia vuosia. 

Tää on kuitenkin helpommin sanottu kuin tehty, meinaan aina hinnankaan perusteella ei voi päätellä tuotteen laatua. Oon välillä löytänyt todella hyvälaatuisia vaatteita, jotka on pysynyt hyvänä vuosien käytössä esimerkiksi Primarkista ja taas ostanut jotain hintavampia vaatteita jotka on myöhemmin osoittautunut huonolaatuisiksi. Eli en siis sanoisi etten ikinä enää aio ostaa vaatteita pikamuoti liikkeistä, mutta aion entistäkin enemmän kiinnittää huomiota materiaaleihin ja vaatteiden viimeistelyyn. Yritän toki ostaa jatkossa enemmän ketjuista joiden laatu on yleisesti hyvää, mutta olisi epärealistista jos sanoisin etten enää ikinä osta mitään pikamuoti liikkeistä. 

Cool girl vibes

Shirt dresses are definitely essentials in my wardrobe and I just think they are really easy to combine with things. As you might know, I love versatile pieces and shirt dresses are definitely that. You can wear them with heels or sneakers and they can be worn on pretty much every season as well.

I decided to combine this one with nude ankle boots and a faux fur coat. The faux leather leggings give the look a bit of a ''cool girl'' vibe which I think is a nice touch as well. What do you think about this outfit?



//Paitamekoista on tullut yhtiä mun vaatekaapin kulmakivistä, mun mielestä niitä on vaan niin helppo yhdistellä erilaisiin asuihin. Niinkuin saatat tietää, mä tykkään vaatteista jotka taipuu moneen ja paitamekot on nimenomaan tällaisia. Ne yhdistyy niin korkkareihin kuin lenkkareihinkin ja niitä voi käyttää vuodenaikaan katsomatta. 

Tällä kertaa yhdistin paitamekon nudeihin nilkkureihin ja tekoturkikseen. Nahkaleggarit puolestaan tuo asuun hieman ''cool girl'' viboja, mikä toimii mun mielestä tässä todella hyvin. Mitäs mieltä sä oot tästä lookista?

3 Ways to style a teddy coat

Pink silk scarf

How nice is this scarf? I already wore it on these outfit pictures, but I didn't talk about the scarf at all. I like that it's super lightweight and because of that, it will probably be really good for the summer. The other thing that I really like is the color or more like the ombre two tone look of it, by turning the scarf around it looks totally different. Best part is that it's 100% silk, I don't think I've ever had a scarf that is fully made of silk and I gotta say, it feels really luxurious.


//Tää kuvissa näkyvä huivi vilahti aiemmin jo näissä asukuvissa, mutten maininnut siitä sanallakaan. Tykkään kyseisestä huivista tosi paljon, se on todella kevyt ja siitä syystä varmasti kiva myös kesällä. Sen lisäksi tykkään huivin väristä tai pikemminkin liukuvärjätystä tyylistä. Kääntämällä huivin toisin päin lookista tulee ihan erilainen. Parasta kaikesta on, että huivi on 100% silkkiä. En oo varmaan ikinä omistanut silkki huivia ja pakko myöntää, että se tuntuu aika luksus tuotteelta!

Keeping it simple

Here's a super simple outfit that in my opinion worked better in real life than in pictures. I don't know if it was the gloomy day or what that made it look a bit less nice. I wore this old black midi dress and combined it with nude ankle boots, a long teddy coat to keep me warm and my favourite bag. What do you think about this look?


//Tässä olis super simppeli asu, joka tosin toimi paremmin todellisuudessa kuin kuvissa. En tiedä  saiko synkkä sää vai mikä tän asun näyttämään vähemmän kivalta. Päältä löytyi kuitenkin vanha musta midimekko yhdistettynä nudeihin nilkkureihin, pitkään teddy takkiin ja mihinkäs muuhun kuin mun lempi laukkuun. Mitäs pidät tästä asusta?
