I moved to Germany

I told you earlier in this post that something exciting would happen this week - well I moved to Germany on Tuesday! We've spent the first days getting used to the new place and running some errands. Today we'll probably go explore the new city a bit more and maybe I'll be able to get some nice pictures as well.

Ensimmäiset päivät onkin mennyt uuteen paikkaan tottumisessa ja asioiden hoitamisessa. Tänään suunnitelmissa olisi tutustua vähän enemmän uuteen kaupunkiin, ehkä samalla saisin otettua kivoja kuvia täältä. 

Winter vibes

I feel like I've been living in over the knee boots and sweater or shirt dresses the whole winter. It's such an easy outfit combination yet it never lets you down. Also if you wear leggings or stretchy jeans with them, it will be super comfy too, which makes it even better.

Here's also a fun fact for you - I don't know if you remember this outfit but actually the only difference between that one and the one in these pictures are the coat and the bag yet they still look so different. Funny how changing few things in your outfit can make the whole look totally different.



//Musta tuntuu että oon elänyt tän talven ylipolvensaappaissa ja joko paita- tai neulemekossa. Kyseinen kombo on vaan niin helppo ja silti näyttää aina kivalta. Jos yhdistelmään lisää joko legginsit tai venyvät farkut, niin se on myös super mukava, mikä tekee koko asusta entistä paremman.

En tiedä muistatko tätä asua, mutta ainoa ero näiden kahden välillä on laukku ja takki ja siltikin nää asut näyttää todella erilaiselta. Hassua miten parin jutun muuttaminen asussa voi saada koko lookin näyttämään niin erilaiselta.

Gloomy day

I hope you've had a nice week so far! I've been in a flu for almost a week now but luckily it's getting better now. I also have some busy days coming up since something exciting is going to happen next week which I'll tell you more about then. I just have to say that I'm really looking forward to it!

The outfit on these pictures is from Tuesday. I spent the morning shopping with my mom, met with Sara afterwards and went for a coffee.


//Toivottavasti sun viikko on sujunut hyvin tähän asti! Mä oon ollut flunssassa melkein viikon verran, mutta onneksi se on nyt paranemaan päin. Mulla on nyt myös kiireisiä päiviä edessä, meinaan ensi viikolla tulee tapahtumaan jotain todella jännää, mistä tulen kertomaan lisää myöhemmin. Pakko vaan sanoa, että oon tosi innoissani!

Kuvissa näkyvä asu oli päällä tiistaina. Vietin tuolloin aamun äidin kanssa shoppaillen ja myöhemmin menin Saran kanssa kahville.

Snake is the new black

This outfit is from a few weeks ago. I bought the snake print shirtdress from Dubai as you may know if you watched my Dubai haul. It's been almost 3 weeks since Imran and I got back from Dubai and I have already gotten so much use out of that shirtdress! I'm pretty sure it will be one of my go-to pieces this spring and summer! What do you think about this outfit?


//Tässä olis asukuvia parin viikon takaa. Ostin kyseisen paitamekon Dubaista, niinkun saatoit jo tietääkin mikäli katsoit mun Dubai haul videon. Tultiin Imranin kanssa takaisin Dubaista melkein kolme viikkoa sitten ja siinä ajassa kyseinen paitamekko on ehtinyt jo olla kovassa käytössä. Oonkin melko varma, että se tulee olemaan yksi mun luottovaatteista tulevana keväänä ja kesänä! Mitäs pidät tästä asusta?

5x Things to do in Dubai

I've been to Dubai 5 times now and I thought I'd share some of my favourite things to do there as well as some info about the things.


//Oon käynyt Dubaissa jo 5 kertaa ja ajattelin vinkata muutamia mun lemppari paikkoja sieltä.

1. Burj Khalifa + Dubai fountain show

At the top of Burj Khalifa is definitely something worth to do, the view from there is amazing. We went to the 125th floor. Considering the price difference of going to the 148th floor, the 125th floor with the nice views was enough. The ticket prices to the 125th floor start from 141aed/person and I would suggest booking it in advance.

There's a fountain show every 30 minutes starting from 18:00 at the Dubai Fountain located just outside the Dubai mall.

Burj Khalifassa käynti on kyllä kokemisen arvoinen, näkymät ylhäältä on upeat! Käytiin 125. kerroksessa ja hinnan huomioiden se oli ihan tarpeeksi korkealla 148. kerrokseen verrattuna. Pääsy 125. ja 124. kerrokseen on alkaen 141aed/henkilö ja liput on suositeltavaa ostaa etukäteen. 

Dubai Mallilla ihan Burj Khalifan alapuolella näytetään myös suihkulähde show kello 18 eteenpäin aina puolen tunnin välein. 

2. Madinat Jumeirah

A really nice place to go for a little walk and have some coffee or even eat at one of their restaurants. We went there during the day time but were also told that it looks really pretty at the evening time.

Todella kiva paikka käydä vähän kävelemässä ja kahvilla tai syömässä! Käytiin kyseisessä paikassa päiväaikaan, mutta siellä on kuulemma todella upeaa myös illalla.

3. Dubai Marina

Also a really nice place for a walk, looks pretty both day and night time. There's lots of skyscrapers, you can watch the yachts go by or if you have enough money rent one for yourself too. I would recommend going there in the afternoon and to go eat dinner to one of the many restaurants at marina beach while enjoying the sunset.

Myöskin todella kiva paikka kävellä, missä on kiva viettää aikaa niin päivällä kuin illallakin. Pilvenpiirtäjät ympäröi maisemaa ja voit ihastella ohi meneviä jahteja tai mikäli rahat riittää niin vuokrata sellaisen omaan käyttöön. Itse suosittelisin menemään marinaan iltapäivästä ja syödä jossain rannalla olevista ravintoloista auringonlaskun aikaan. 

4. Miracle Garden

I just love this place, it is so beautiful! They change the theme every now and then, so even if you have been there before, it might be different when you go there the next time. The tickets to the Miracle Garden cost 50aed/person.

Todella nätti paikka! Miracle Gardenin teema vaihtuu aina silloin tällöin, joten vaikka täällä olisi käynyt aiemmin, saattaa paikka sitli näyttää eriltä ensi kerralla. Liput maksaa 50aed/henkilö.  

5. Global Village

I visited this place the first time this year and it was also really nice! There's sections for different countries and at every section they sell some things that has something to do with that country. It can be anything from clothes to food and even if you are not planning to buy anything, it is definitely worth a visit! The entrance ticket costs only 15aed/person so it won't break the bank.

Kyseisessä paikassa tuli käytyä ensimmäistä kertaa tällä reissulla. Global Villagessa on osioita eri maille, joissa myydään jotain kyseiseen maahan liittyviä tuotteita. Nämä tuotteet voi olla mitä tahansa vaatteista ruokaan ja niin edelleen. Vaikket olisi aikeissa ostaa mitään, niin kyseinen paikka on silti käymisen arvoinen! Sisäänpääsy on vain 15aed/henkilö!

Dubai look

 One last outfit from Dubai! I only took pictures of 2 of my outfits there, since I wanted to focus more on filming a lookbook. This outfit I wore on a day when we went shopping in some souks at the older areas of Dubai - Bur Dubai and Deira. I really like the combination of the white blouse and the snake skirt. I've been really into snake print lately and the white top makes the combination look nice and fresh. The straw bag, sandals and sunglasses finishes the vacay look.


//Vika Dubai asu! Otin itseasiassa Dubaissa kuvia vain kahdesta asusta, sillä halusin keskittyä enemmän lookbookin kuvaamiseen. Tää asu oli päällä kun käytiin ostoksilla Bur Dubain ja Deiran soukeissa. Mun mielestä kyseinen käärmehameen ja valkoisen paidan yhdistelmä on todella kiva. Oon ollut todella tykästynyt käärmekuosiin viime aikoina ja valkoinen paita saa asukokonaisuudesta kivan freesin. Korilaukku, sandaalit ja aurinkolasit viimeistelee lomalookin.

In Dubai We Wear Abayas

I love wearing abayas, but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable wearing them in Finland. However my trip to Dubai was a perfect chance to get some use out of this one and I regret not taking my other abayas with me as well. There's just something so elegant in the way they look, don't you think? I felt so sophisticated wearing this outfit and I just really love the look. What do you think?


//Tykkään abayoista todella paljon, mutta valitettavasti en osaa käyttää niitä Suomessa. Dubain matka antoi kuitenkin taas mahdollisuuden ottaa kyseinen abaya käyttöön ja mua kaduttaakin etten ottanut mun muita abayoita matkalle mukaan. Mun mielestä ne vaan näyttää jotenkin niin elegantilta. Kyseinen asu saikin mulle hienostuneen olon aikaan ja tykkään tästä lookista todella paljon. Mitä mieltä sä oot?
