Stylish & comfy in France

In the end of last week Imran and I decided to go to Lille, France for a mini trip. If you are interested in hearing more about that, stay tuned for Thursday's post, since today is all about my outfit I wore on the first day of our trip.

I wanted to wear something warm since it was quite chilly and we were going to be out all day. I ended up wearing my super warm grey turtle neck sweater combined with black wide leg trousers and a faux fur jacket. The sneakers were a must since there was lots of walking, and I think my attempt of looking stylish while still being comfy was accomplished with this look.



//Päätettiin Imranin kanssa lähteä lyhyelle matkalle Lilleen, Ranskaan viime viikon lopulla. Lisää tästä kuitenkin torstaina, sillä tänään keskitytään ensimmäisenä päivänä päälle päätyneeseen asuun.

Halusin ensisijaisesti jotain lämmintä päälle, sillä Lilleen oltiin luvattu hieman viileämpää säätä ja tarkoitus oli olla ulkona koko päivä. Päädyinkin siis harmaaseen super lämpimään neuleeseen yhdistettynä mustiin housuihin ja tekoturkkiin. Lenkkarit oli must, meinaan päivän aikana tuli käveltyä sen verran paljon. Tarkoitus olikin näyttää tyylikkäältä mukavuutta unohtamatta ja mielestäni onnistuinkin siinä tän asun kanssa aika hyvin.

Gibraltar photo diary #2

Last photo diary from this trip. These pictures are from the second and third aka last time when we went to Gibraltar. On both days we explored Gibraltar by walking around since the weather was so nice, took some pictures and just enjoyed ourselves. I really liked Gibraltar, it's basically England in Spain meaning that the climate is as nice as it is in Spain but with England's standards - sounds good to me.

//Viimeinen kuvapäiväkirja matkalta. Nää kuvat on toiselta ja kolmannelta/viimeiseltä päivältä kun käytiin Gibraltarissa. Molempina päivinä lähinnä nähtiin Gibraltaria kävellen, nautittiin ihanasta säästä ja otettiin paljon kuvia. Tykkäsin Gibraltarista todella paljon, se on periaatteessa Englanti Espanjassa - Espanjan ilmasto yhdistettynä Englannin tasoon, kuulostaa hyvältä mulle! 

Vlogattiin myös matkan jokaisena päivänä ja kyseiset vlogit löytyy täältä!

Girly in Amsterdam

I wore this girly outfit few weeks ago, when Imran and I went to test this bagel restaurant in Amsterdam centre. The food was good and worth going for another time as well, but I think my outfit was even better.

It's not a secret that I'm a big fan of pink and I wear it a lot. I think this outfit is just so me and I have noticed that lately my outfits have been going more to the girly side than they have before. Even though I still can't really define my style to any specific category, I really like having at least a little bit of girly touch in every outfit. Who knows, maybe now I'm one step closer to defining it.



//Tää tyttömäinen asu on muutaman viikon takaa, kun käytiin Imranin kanssa Amsterdamin keskustassa testaamassa yhtä bagel paikkaa. Ruoka oli hyvää ja uudelleen käymisen arvoista, mutta mun asu taisi olla sitäkin parempi.

Ei oo mikään salaisuus, että vaaleanpunainen lukeutuu mun lempiväreihin ja käytän sitä paljon myös pukeutumisessa. Tää asu on jotenkin niin mua ja oon huomannut viimeaikoina mun asujen kallistuvan enemmän ja enemmän tyttömäisen puolelle. Vaikken osaakkaan vielä pistää mun tyyliä mihinkään tiettyyn kategoriaan, niin tykkään silti että mun asuista löytyy edes pieni ripaus tyttömäisyyttä. Kuka tietää, ehkä tää on merkki siitä, että oon askelen lähempänä sen oman tyylin löytämistä.

How to prevent outfit crises?

I think we all have days every now and then, when it just feels really hard to come up with an outfit. Because of that, I thought that I would share some tips that have helped me to have a lot less of those days and I hope that they'll help you as well! I would also like to hear your tips as well if you have any!


//Meillä kaikilla tulee varmaan silloin tällöin eteen päiviä, milloin ei keksi mitään päälle pantavaa. Tästä syystä päätinkin jakaa muutaman vinkin, minkä ansiosta itselläni on ollut kyseisenlaisia päiviä vähemmän ja toivon mukaan nää auttaa myös sua! Spain photo diary #2

Even though it's been over a month since we came back from our trip, I still have one travel post for you after this.

These pictures are from Estepona, Spain. Such a beautiful place don't you think? I fell in love with the white houses together with all the plants and flowers, they just gave the street a great vibe. Even outside the area where all of the houses were white, Estepona was so amazing with it's beach walk and palm trees! If you are going to Spain, why not do a little day trip to this cute town as well?

Nää kuvat on Esteponasta, Espanjasta. Eikö olekin kaunis paikka? Ihastuin noihin valkoisiin taloihin yhdessä kukkien ja muiden kasvien kanssa, ne loi jotenkin niin kivan tunnelman noille kaduille. Kyseisen alueen ulkopuolellakin Estepona oli kerrassaan upea rantakatuineen ja palmuineen! Jos siis olet tekemässä matkaa Espanjaan, niin suosittelen myös pika visiittiä kyseiseen söpöön kaupunkiin.
