Spring Denim

Here's an outfit from last Monday, I was wearing a denim jacket paired with black trousers and white sneakers. What comes to denim jackets, I think they are an essential for spring and also for summer in the colder countries. Denim jackets look so nice with many different kind of outfits which makes them pretty versatile. A Denim jacket is also a nice way to make sleeveless tops and dresses modest for spring and summer!


//Tässä olis asukuvia viime maanantailta, päälle päätyi farkkutakki yhdistettynä mustiin housuihin ja valkoisiin lenkkareihin. Farkkutakki on mun mielestä yksi vaatekappale mikä pitäisi löytyä jokaisen kevät ja kesä vaatekaapista. Ne sopii monen erilaisen asukokonaisuuden kanssa, mikä tekeekin niistä todella käytännöllisiä. Farkkutakki näyttää myös hyvältä hihattomien paitojen ja mekkojen päällä kevättä ja kesää varten!

Spring favourites

Today I'm sharing my favourite things for this spring, what have been your favourites this spring?


//Tänään jaan mun tän kevään lemppareita videolla! Mitkä jutut on ollut sun suosikkeja tänä keväänä?

Flower power

I don't know if it's the little tulip bouquet, the color scheme of my outfit or both of them combined, but these are my favourite spring outfit pictures so far. I feel like the pictures are screaming spring, which is what I had in mind before taking these photos. I used to always wear lots of black and I still do, but I have also noticed that I'm more and more drawn to lighter colored outfits. For example, the combination of light pink and white is just so fresh and somehow feminine as well that I just can't help but love it! The freshness of that color combo is also perfect for spring, don't you think?


//En tiedä johtuuko se pienestä kukkakimpusta, asun värimaailmasta vai molemmista, mutta nää kuvat on varmaankin mun lempi kevätasukuvat tähän mennessä. Nää kuvat oikein huutaa kevättä, mitä hainkin takaa jo kuvia suunniteltaessa. Oon tottunut käyttämään paljon mustaa pukeutumisessa, mutta oon huomannut tykkääväni kokoajan enemmän ja enemmän vaaleammista asukokonaisuuksista. Esimerkiksi vaaleanpunaisen ja valkoisen yhdistelmä on jotenkin niin raikas ja naisellinen, etten vaan yksinkertaisesti voi olla pitämättä siitä! Kyseinen värikombo on myös täydellinen kevääseen, eikö!

Black and pink for spring

One thing I find helpful when you can't wait to start wearing lighter jackets or cardigans during spring is to layer them with warmer pieces underneath. That's what I did on Tuesday with my outfit when I wanted to wear my black chiffon cardigan, I wore it over a knitted tunic. Despite wearing lots of dark colors in this outfit, it's still very suitable for spring due to the tunic and bag. What do you think about this spring day outfit?


//Jos sulle käy keväisin niin, ettet malta säistä huolimatta olla käyttämättä niitä kaikista kevyimpiä takkeja, niin yks hyvä keino on kerrostaa niiden alle jotain lämpimämpää. Näin tein itse mun tiistaisen asun kanssa, kun halusin päästä käyttämään tätä mustaa sifonkista neuletta, pistin alle neule tunikan. Vaikka asussa on paljon tummia värejä, niin tunika ja laukku tekee siitä silti kevääseen sopivan. Mitäs pidät tästä kevät asusta?

Reunited with my blogger friend

On Tuesday I met with my friend Robin after a long time and I thought that our meeting would make a nice vlog. The last time we met was over a year ago, when we were both invited to attend an event in London so it was really nice to finally meet again. I hope you enjoy the vlog!

It's been a long time since I last posted random pics from Holland, but now I finally managed to take some nice photos. I don't know if it was the nice weathers that got me all inspired but these pics are from 2 different days, and all from the city centre area of Amsterdam. On both days the weather was absolutely lovely and I hope that it can be seen through these pics!


//Siitä onkin jo aikaa kun viimeksi postasin random kuvia Hollannista, mutta nyt vihdoinkin onnistuin saamaan kivasti kuvia otettua täältä. En tiedä sainko inspiraation kuvaamiseen lämpimistä säistä vaiko jostain muualta, mutta tän postauksen kuvat on kahdelta eri päivältä, kaikki Amsterdamin keskustan alueelta. Molempina päivinä sää oli mitä mahtavin ja toivonkin sen fiiliksen myös välittyvän näiden kuvien kautta! 

Feeling a lot like summer

During the weekend we were blessed with a really warm weather, when the temperature reached as high as 21°C! In Finland that would have been considered summer, I'm not sure how it's here in the Netherlands. I was really enjoying the summery vibes and spend the day in the centre with Zaineb.

As for my outfit, I chose this lovely black midi dress and put a denim jacket on top of it. I paired them with a pair of black ballerinas and a black bag. I finished the outfit with a pink hijab to bring some color and that spring/summer feeling to the outfit! Because of the denim jacket, this outfit would be perfect for the chilly summer nights!



//Viikonloppuna oli aika kesäinen tunnelma kun lämpötila kohosi jopa 21 asteeseen! Suomessa tätä voisi kutsua jo kesäksi, en tiedä miten asia on täällä Hollannissa. Päädyin nauttimaan tästä ihanan kesäisestä säästä Amsterdamin keskustaan Zainebin kanssa. 

Asuna toimi musta midi mekko, jonka päälle vetäisin farkkutakin. Yhdistin ne mustiin ballerinoihin ja laukkuun sekä vaaleanpunaiseen huiviin, joka toi kivasti väriä ja kevät/kesä fiilistä asuun. Farkkutakin ansiosta tää asu olisikin täydellinen myös viileämpiä kesäiltoja varten!

The pink trench coat

If you want to be really trendy this spring, a light pink trench coat is the way to do it! I love wearing trench coats during spring and autumn, since they are really feminine and timeless. They can elevate basically any outfit and as I mentioned in my spring essentials 2018 video, trench coats are huge this spring! I got this pink one already last spring and it's my absolute favourite! The color is just perfect for spring! I think adding a light colored trench coat is the best way to update your wardrobe to the new season and it might even be the only thing you need in doing that.


//Paras tapa näyttää trendikkäältä tänä keväänä on hankkia vaaleanpunainen trenssi! Trenssit on mun lempi takkeja keväällä ja syksyllä, sillä ne on niin naisellisia ja myöskin ajattomia. Ne antaa asulle yleensä kivan elegantin ilmeen ja niin kuin mainitsin mun spring essentials 2018 videossa, trenssi takit on todella kovaa huutoa tänä keväänä. Mun vaaleanpunainen yksilö on jo viime keväänä hommattu ja se onkin mun ehdoton lemppari! Väritykseltään tää on ihan täydellinen kevääseen ja oonkin sitä mieltä, että vaalea trenssi saattaa jopa olla ainoa juttu minkä tarvitset vaatekaapin päivittämiseen kevättä varten.
