Lille lookbook

Last but not least post from Lille. I managed to film a lookbook (kind of) of both of the outfits I wore in Lille. I wanted to travel as lightly as possible, so basically the only difference between the looks are my sweater and the bag. Which one of the looks did you like more?


//Viimeisin muttei vähäisin postaus Lillestä. Onnistuin kuvaamaan lookbookin (tai jotain sinne päin) mun molemmista matkan aikana päällä olleista asuista. Halusin matkustaa mahdollisimman kevyesti joten ainoa ero asuissa onkin neule ja laukku. Kummasta asusta sä tykkäsit enemmän?

Lille in 2 days

Last Friday Imran and I took a bus from Amsterdam to Lille, France. We had thought about doing a mini trip there for quite a while and now we decided to do so! If you like French architecture like I do, then I think Lille is a nice place for example a weekend trip!

We booked our hotel near the centre and did all our exploring by walking. We went to see Porte de Paris, Opera de Lille and Palais des beaux arts. We didn't end up going inside of the Opera or the Palais des beaux arts, but both of the buildings were pretty from outside (even though Palais des beaux arts was under construction) and according to the pictures I saw in google, Opera de Lille is quite stunning from inside as well. I also liked La Grand'Place or the main square and the smaller streets of Lille in general.



//Otettiin Imranin kanssa perjantaina bussi Amsterdamista Lilleen, Ranskaan. Oltiin mietitty kyseistä visiittiä jo jonkin aikaa kunnes vihdoinkin päädyttiin myös oikeasti varaamaan se. Jos tykkäät ranskalaisesta arkkitehtuurista, niin Lille on todella kiva kohde esimerkiksi viikonloppumatkalle!

Varattiin hotelli keskustan lähettyviltä ja kierrettiin paikkoja kävellen. Käytiin näkemässä Porte de Paris, Opera de Lille ja Palais des beaux arts. Ei tosin käyty sisällä kummassakaan jälkimmäisistä, mutta molemmat olivat näkemisen arvoisia ulkoa (vaikkakin Palais des beaux arts oli remontissa) ja Googlen perusteella Ooppera näytti upealta myös sisältäkin. Tykkäsin myös La Grand'Place:sta / pää aukiosta ja Lillen kaduista ylipäätään.
