Flower crown with Hijab

What reminds of summer (or spring) better than flowers? I've been wanting a flower crown for quite a while, but just didn't see myself using it other than only in pictures and because of that couldn't justify the purchase. I recently saw a hijab tutorial with one on instagram and that inspired me to finally buy one! I found mine from Primark and it was only 3€ so if I would only use it for pictures, it wouldn't be the end of the world but also it's so cute that I think I'll get some use out of it! What do you think about flower crowns? would you were them?

Löysin kyseisen pannan Primarkista 3€:lla, joten jos en jostain syystä sitä muuhun kuin kuviin käyttäisikään, ei se olisi maailman loppu, mutta on se kyllä sen verran söpö, että uskon myös käyttäväni sitä! Mitä mieltä sä oot tälläisistä kukkapannoista? Käyttäisitkö itse?

 Remember when I told you in this post how I thought that this shirt dress would be perfect for summer with white jeans? Well even though I'm saying this myself, I think that this is quite a nice summer outfit! The light colors will not only keep you cool but they also give a nice and fresh look! One of the trendiest thing right now is a straw bag and that combined with a pair of sandals will definitely complete your summer look! What are your summer go-to pieces?

What I wore in a week

Time for another what I wore in a week video! Can you notice which pieces were my most worn ones during that week? I didn't even realise it myself until after going through all the footage.

First impression of Ted Baker court shoes

I got these pretty heels as a souvenir from my mom, and I like them so much! That's why I thought that I would tell you more about them too! First of all I think that they are really pretty and cute! Also when putting them on your feet, they feel really soft, like you would walk on a thin cushion. The back of the shoes felt a bit slippery at first, but after walking a while it wasn't like that anymore.

I ended up wearing them for 3.5 hours and after I got home my feet were hurting a bit but that's something I was expecting since I'm not used to wearing heels like that. I'm pretty positive that next time I'm wearing them I can wear them even longer without problems. I usually get blisters pretty easily from new shoes, but didn't have that problem with these ones which was a positive surprise. So I would highly recommend these heels unless you have really wide feet, because these shoes are pretty narrow which suits me perfectly.

//Sain nää ihanat korkkarit tuliaisena äidiltä ja tykkään niistä ihan sikana! Sen takia halusinkin tehdä niistä ihan kokonaisen postauksen, missä kerron niistä hieman tarkemmin. Mun mielestä nää on vaan niin nätit ja söpöt! Jalkaan pistäessä ne tuntuu todella pehmeältä, ihan kuin kävelisi ohuen tyynyn päällä. Alkuun kengän takaosa tuntui hieman liukkaalta, mutta sekin meni ohi vähän ajan päästä. 

Ensimmäisellä käyttökerralla nää oli jalassa kolme ja puoli tuntia ja kotiin päästessä jalkoihin sattui jo hieman, mutta uskaltaisin pistää sen tottumattomuuden piikkiin. Oonkin aika varma, että ensi kerralla kyseisiä korkkareita käyttäessä pystyn käyttämään niitä vielä pidempään. Mulle tulee yleensä helposti hiertymiä uusista kengistä, mutta näissä ei ollut sitä ongelmaa, mikä yllätti mut positiivisesti. Voisinkin siis todellakin suositella näitä paitsi jos omaat vähän leveemmät jalat. Näissä korkkareissa on meinaan kapea lesti, mikä taas sopii mulle paremmin kuin hyvin.

Valitettavasti näitä kenkiä ei löydy enää Ted Bakerin sivuilta tässä samassa kuosissa, mutta samoja kenkiä löytyy kahdessa muussa kuosissa ja ne löytyy täältä* ja täältä*!

Leather jacket and floral heels

Mom jeans, pretty heels and a leather jacket - that's what my outfit from a bit over a week ago was made of. Or atleast till I had to ditch the jacket since it became too hot to wear one. How cute are those heels though? I like them so much that I have a whole post coming up about them on Thursday! The shoes really elevate this otherwise quite simple outfit, they don't only give me few extra centimeters of height, but they also bring that something to the outfit, or what do you think?


Mutsi farkut, söpöt kengät ja nahkatakki - siitä tää mun hieman yli viikon takainen asu oli tehty. Tai ainakin siihen asti, että jouduin antamaan takille kyytiä kuumuuden iskiessä. Eikö nää asun kengät olekin muuten söpöt? Tykkään niistä sen verran paljon, että niistä on tulossa ihan oma postaus torstaina! Mun mielestä noi kengät vaan antaa sitä jotakin muuten simppeliin asuun, unohtamatta tietenkään muutaman sentin lisäpituutta! Mitäs mieltä sä oot tästä asusta?

Black x Pink x White

I still have some outfit pictures left from Finland and this is one of them. About a month ago in Amsterdam I saw someone wearing their Louis Vuitton shawl like I do in the first 2 pictures, and I knew that I had to try out that style as well. My shawl happened to be in Finland so I had to wait to get there to do that. I actually really like that style, I think it looks really nice and also gives some extra warmness! What do you think about this outfit?


//Mulla on edelleen julkaisemattomia asukuvia Suomesta ja tässä olis yhdet. Noin kuukausi sitten näin Amsterdamissa jonkun käyttävän Louis Vuitton huivia samalla tavalla kuin minä kahdessa ensimmäisessä kuvassa. Tiesin heti, että munkin on pakko kokeilla kyseistä tyyliä! Oma huvini sattui olemaan Suomessa, joten jouduin odottamaan ennen kuin pääsin kokeilemaan kyseistä tyyliä. Tykkään tästä tavasta käyttää kyseistä LV huivia, mun mielestä se vaan näyttää niin kivalta ja lämmittää myös hieman! Mitä mieltä sä oot tästä asusta?

Here's an outfit from a week ago. I'm now back in the Netherlands, but during the 2 weeks I spent in Finland it basically went from winter to spring and from that to summer. When I came to finland, it was still cold enough to wear a winter coat, it was really grey and there were no signs of spring whatsoever. Yesterday when I was leaving it was green everywhere, the sun was shining and it was too warm to wear a jacket outside!

When it comes to both the Finnish and Dutch weather you can never know, so it might be that jackets will still be needed before the summer really begins and I think this outfit will be perfect for those cooler days. It will keep you warm, but also because of the colors it will keep that spring and summer feeling going! What do you think?



//Viikon takaista asua kehiin. Mä palasin eilen takaisin Hollantiin, mutta kahden Suomessa vietetyn viikon aikana ehdittiin mennä talvesta kevääseen ja siitä suoraan kesään. Suomeen tullessa kaikkialla oli vielä harmaata, kevään merkkejä ei näkynyt missään ja talvitakki osoittautui edelleen tarpeelliseksi. Eilen lähtiessä jokapuolella oli vihreää, aurinko paistoi, eikä ulkona tarvinnut minkäänlaista takkia. 

Niin Suomen kuin Hollannin säistä ei tosin ikinä voi tietää, joten on hyvinkin mahdollista, että takeille on vielä käyttöä ennen kun kesä lähtee kunnolla käyntiin. Tää asu onkin täydellinen sellaisten päivien varalta! Takin ansiosta pysyy lämpimänä, mutta asun värit puolestaan pitää kevät ja kesä fiiliksen yllä! Mitäs mieltä sä oot?

Last minute Ramadan preparations

Krakow as a muslim

Time for a photo diary from Krakow! I was in Krakow with my mom about two weeks ago and today I'm sharing my thoughts about our trip with you. First of all, I think Krakow is a beautiful city, especially the old town area is really nice for even just walking around. I think it's a great place wether you want to explore some historical places, shop or both! The food is quite cheap and I think if you go outside of the tourist areas, it's even cheaper. So overall it is a nice place.

I didn't have that good experience with the people though, it was kinda 50-50 wether people were nice or not. I don't know if it was the fact that I'm muslim and wear a scarf on my head or what, but there were lots of people staring, many of them clearly in a bad way. In some restaurants we got really bad service and were treated differently than the other customers, which wasn't nice at all. Luckily there were also nice people too, but the not so nice ones really made otherwise a good trip a bit less enjoyable.



//Tässä olis kuvapäiväkirja Krakovasta! Olin siis Krakovassa äitini kanssa noin kaksi viikkoa sitten ja ajattelin tänään jakaa mun ajatatuksia tästä matkasta teidän kanssa. Mun mielestä Krakova oli tosi nätti kaupunki ja varsinkin vanhankaupungin alue on tosi kiva vaikka vaan ympäriinsä kävelyyn. Kyseinen kaupunki on mainio vaihtoehto, halusi sitten käydä historiallisissa nähtävyyksissä, shoppailla, tai miksei myös molemmat! Ruoka oli halpaa ja turistialueiden ulkopuolella varmasti vieläkin halvempaa. Kaiken kaikkiaan siis ihan kiva matkakohde. 

Mun käsitys puolalaisista ei tosin ollut yhtä hyvä, ihmiset jakautui aikalailla kahtia jotkut oli mukavia ja toiset taas ei. En tiedä johtuiko se siitä, että olen muslimi ja käytän huivia vai mistä, mutta monet ihmiset tuijottivat ja iso osa selkeästi pahalla tavalla. Joissain ravintoloissa saatiin myös huonoa palvelua ja meitä muutenkin kohdeltiin eri tavalla kuin toisia asiakkaita, mikä ei todellakaan ollut kivaa. Onneksi kuitenkin niitä mukaviakin ihmisiä oli, mutta ne ei niin kivat ihmiset kyllä onnistui saamaan muuten todella mukavasta matkasta vähemmän mukavan.
