A day in the nature

Last Friday evening Imran and I did a little trip to Nuuksio, a national park in Finland. We drove there after work, bought some snacks and just enjoyed the nature with all it's beauty and quietness. The little road trip there and back, just walking in the nature, watching the sunset, flying the drone etc. was just so relaxing. I was supposed to take lots of pictures but I just forgot. All of these pictures are also taken with my phone since I didn't really feel like carrying a big camera with me especially since we were vlogging too. Do you like to spend time in the nature?


//Käytiin Imranin kanssa nuuksiossa viime perjantaina. Ajettiin sinne töiden jälkeen, napattiin eväitä matkaan ja nautittiin vaan luonnosta ja hiljaisuudesta. Ajomatka sinne ja takaisin, luonnossa kävely, auringonlaskun katsominen, dronen lennättäminen jne oli kaikessa kokonaisuudessaan niin rentouttavaa. Mun oli tarkotus ottaa paljon kuvia, mutta mä yksinkertaisesti vaan unohdin. Kaikki nääkin kuvat on kännykällä otettuja, kun en jaksanut ottaa järkkäriä mukaan, varsinkaan kun vlogattiin myös. Tykkäätkö sä viettää aikaa luonnossa?

Sporty Chic

Last Thursday Sara and I went to the opening of a new shopping mall Redi. I vlogged on that day and if you are interested in hearing and seeing more about that, check this vlog out. On that day I wore my new adidas top with some grey trousers, pink hijab and a backpack. The look wouldn't have been complete without my favourite and the most comfiest sneakers. A bit sportier look than I normally go for, but I think the amount of pink balances it out. What do you think about this outfit?


//Käytiin torstaina Saran kanssa Redin avajaisissa ja vloggasin myös kyseisenä päivänä, joten jos haluat kuulla ja nähdä siitä lisää, niin pääset katsomaan kyseisen vlogin täältä. Päältä löytyi tuolloin uusi adidas paita, jonka yhdistin harmaiden housujen, repun ja vaaleanpunaisen huivin kanssa. Asun viimeisteli mun lempparit ja maailman mukavimmat lenkkarit. Ehkä vähän sporttisempi asu kuin mitä mulla yleensä näkee, mutta ehkä vaaleanpunaisen määrä vähän kompensoi sitä. Mitä mieltä sä oot tästä asusta?

What I wore last week #7

Now that we have reached autumn in Finland I thought it's a good time to film another what I wore in a week video. So here's 6 autumn outfits I wore last week.


//Nyt kun syksy on täällä, ajattelin että olisi hyvä aika kuvata uusi what I wore in a week video. Tässä olisi siis 6 viime viikolla päällä ollutta syksyistä asua. 

Cozy Autumn Uniform

I could live in this outfit through the whole autumn time! It's so cozy, because of the chunky sweater it is really warm as well and I think it looks really nice too! I like this outfit so much that I'm sure it will be one of my go-to outfits this autumn and winter (with a jacket on top ofc!).

The grey sweater is my favourite from last winter, and will probably continue being my favourite this autumn and winter as well. I got it as a birthday gift and I just love it so much! It looks great on top of a midi dress like this and also with wide leg trousers. //Voisin elää tässä asussa koko syksyn! Niin mukava, paksun neuleen ansiosta myös todella lämmin ja mun mielestä se näyttää myös todella kivalta! Tykkään tästä asusta sen verran paljon, että siitä tulee varmasti yks mun tän syksyn ja talven (takin kanssa tietysti) luotto asuista! 

Harmaa neule on jo viime vuoden lemppari, mutta tulee jatkamaan samassa asemassa varmasti myös tänä syksynä ja talvena. Sain sen synttärilahjaksi ja tykkään siitä ihan super paljon! Se näyttää niin kivalta tälläisen midi mekon päällä, mutta menee tosi kivasti myös leveälahkeisten housujen kanssa. Tää asu näkyi myös mun ''3 tapaa stailata midi mekko syksyllä'' videolla ja jos et oo nähnyt sitä, niin käyppä katsomassa!

After a really long time I got the chance to use my lovely LV shawl! I really like it, but haven't used it in a while since it's not really something you will wear when it's 30°C outside. I combined it with a high neck top, wide leg trousers and finished the look with my favourite sneakers.

The sneakers are actually like the best thing ever! They are so cute, they go with almost every outfit and they are super comfy! Also that pink color is just perfect for me! I could almost say that they are the comfiest shoes that I've ever owned and I seriously like them so much that I don't wear them when it's raining outside or supposed to since I don't want them to get dirty.


//Pitkästä aikaa pääsin käyttämään mun ihanaa LV huivia! Tykkään siitä todella paljon, mutten ole käyttänyt sitä vähään aikaan muun muassa siksi, ettei se ihan mene 30°C helteissä. Yhdistin sen tällä kertaa poolokauluksisen paidan, leveälahkeisten housujen ja mun lemppari lenkkareiden kanssa.

Nää lenkkarit on muuten paras juttu ikinä! Ne on niin söpöt, ne sopii lähestulkoon asuun kuin asuun ja ne on niiin mukavat! Väri on myös niin täydellinen mulle! Voisin oikeesti jopa sanoa et nää on mukavimmat kengät mitä mulla on ikinä ollut. Tykkään näistä niin paljon, että jos ulkona sataa tai päiväksi on luvattu sadetta, niin jätän näiden käytön väliin etten vaan likaa niitä!

3 Ways to wear midi dress in autumn

For some people dresses are for summer (and parties) only, but I like to wear them all year around. In today's video I'm showing you 3 different ways to wear a midi dress this autumn. I hope you like the video and find it inspiring! Also I would like to know which look you liked the most!

My favourite shops for modest fashion

I thought that it would be fun to list my favourite shops for modest fashion here.


Zara
I think that Zara has some amazing pieces that are loose fitting and long or things that are quite easy to make work with layering. They also usually sell culottes and palazzo pants all year around which is really nice and perfect for a modest wardrobe!

H&M
I think H&M sometimes has really nice pieces, like shirt dresses. Usually they have something that suits a modest wardrobe but often you need at least some kind of layering.

Primark
I wish we had Primark in Finland, since first of all they often have lots of long tunics, jackets and tops which are perfect for someone who wants to dress modestly. Also their prices are so nice and if you really pay attention you can get amazing looking clothes really cheap.

Ted Baker
I LOOOOOVE Ted Baker. They have amazing knitwear, nice bags and shoes and the quality is on point. Only down side is that it's expensive but in the long run I think their pieces are really durable and good quality so they are worth the money.

The Modest Online
I love their hijabs! The modest online is a Finnish online brand selling modest clothes, scarves etc. Their scarves are such a good quality and they just are my favourite!

//Ajattelin että olisi kiva jakaa blogin puolella missä tykkään shoppailla. 

Zara
Zarasta löytyy usein kivoja vaatteita, jotka on vähän löysemmän ja/tai pidemmän mallisia tai saan ne muuten toimimaan omassa pukeutumisessa kerrostuksen avulla. Sieltä löytyy myös ympäri vuoden leveälahkeisia housuja mitkä on mun kaltaiselle pukeutujalle must.

H&M
Joskus H&M:stä löytyy kivoja juttuja kuten paitamekkoja. Yleensä kuitenkin vaatteet tarvitsevat jonkun näköistä kerrostamista jotta ne sopii vähän peittävämmin pukeutuvalle.

Primark
Harmi ettei Suomesta löydy kyseistä liikettä. Sieltä meinaan löytyy aina paljon erilaisia pitkiä tunikoita, paitoja ja takkeja. Tuotteet on myös todella halpoja ja jos on tarkkana niin voi löytää oikeesti todella upeita vaatteita halvalla!

Ted Baker
Varmaan yks mun oikeesti ihan lempi brändeistä. Ted Bakeriltä löytää aina ihania neuleita, laukkuja ja kenkiä, jotka on myös todella laadukkaita. Ainoa huono puoli on hinta, mutta toisaalta taas laadusta kannattaa maksaa. 

The Modest Online
The Modest Online:n huivit on ihan parhaita! Kyseessä on siis suomalainen yritys, joka myy hieman peittävämpiä vaatteita, huiveja jne. Heidän huivit on mun lemppareita eikä laadussakaan ole valittamista!

Favourite combo

I realised that I haven't mentioned here yet that I started a new job 2 weeks ago. If you follow me on Instagram, then you might already know, but I'm currently working as a part time sales assistant. As for my daily schedule that means that I now need to really plan ahead what I will do and when in order to get everything done.

What do you think about this outfit? I've probably said this so many times, but you can never go wrong with the combination of pink and black. I looove the light pink trousers together with the black loafers. The chiffon cardigan is also one of my favourite pieces and I think it adds a nice touch to the outfit.



//Tajusin etten oo tainnutkaan blogin puolella mainita, että aloitin kaksi viikkoa sitten uuden työn. Jos seuraat mua instagramin puolella niin saatatkin jo tietää, että olen nyt osa-aikatöissä myyjänä. Mun aikataulun kannalta se tarkoittaa sitä, että mun pitää todellakin suunnitella etukäteen mitä teen milloinkin, jos haluan saada kaiken tehtyä.

Mitäs muuten pidät tästä asusta? Oon varmaan sanonut tän jo ties kuinka monta kertaa, mutta mun mielestä musta ja vaaleanpunainen on vaan pettämätön yhdistelmä. Tykkään näistä vaaleanpunaisista housuista ihan super paljon ja mun mielestä ne sopii myös niin kivasti noiden mustien loafereiden kanssa. Musta sifonkitakki taas antaa asuun kivan lisän.

Lazy Sunday Outfit

You know those days, when you just don't feel like dressing up and just want to put on something super comfy. That was my Sunday last week. I pulled on my new tracksuit and put on some sneakers. Can't really get more comfortable than that if you ask me. I think that this tracksuit is so cute yet cool which makes it perfect for those a bit more relaxed days.


//Varmaan kaikille tulee silloin tällöin päiviä, kun ei vaan jaksaisi panostaa vaatetukseen, vaan pistää päälle jotain mahdollisimman mukavaa. Mulla oli tälläinen päivä viime sunnuntaina. Tästä syystä päälle päätyikin uus verkkapuku ja jalkaan mitäs muuta kuin lenkkarit. Tän mukavampaa asua ei voisikaan olla, ainakaan jos multa kysytään. Mun mielestä kyseinen verkkapuku on samaan aikaan söpö ja cool, mikä tekee siitä täydellisen vähän rennompiin päiviin!

Coffee date look

I wore this outfit almost 2 weeks ago on a quite warm day. Speaking of warm days, usually by this time of the year we are all the way in autumn in Finland but now the temperatures are near 20°C every day.

On the day of this outfit Imran and I went to test a cafe called Strindberg and we vlogged our experience there. I wanted to wear my loafers and the Trussardi Jeans bag and I kinda built my outfit around that. I think it's such a cute outfit and will work really well on colder days as well by just adding a jacket on top. What do you think?



//Tää asu on jo melkeen kahden viikon takaa lämpimältä ''syys''päivältä. Lämpimistä päivistä puheenollen tuntuu niin oudolta, että vielä syyskuussakin on näin lämmintä! Oon niin tottunut siihen, että tässä vaiheessa vuotta ei ulkona pärjää ilman takkia. 

Kyseisenä päivänä käytiin Imranin kanssa testaamassa kahvila Strindberg ja vlogattiin meidän kokemus. Halusin tuona päivänä pistää mun loaferit sekä Trussardi Jeans laukun ja rakensinkin muun asun niiden ympärille. Mun mielestä kyseinen asu on tosi kiva ja sopii hyvin myös kylmempiin päiviin kunhan vaan lisää asuun takin. Mitä mieltä sä oot?
