Wrap dress and sandals

We had some rather summery days last week and this was one of the outfits that I wore. I got to test my new sandals that I bought for the summer about a month ago. I paired them with a wrap style maxi dress and I think they go really well together. I think the nude heeled sandals will go so well with pretty much everything. The color goes with all the clothes I have and I think the simple style goes for both casual and dressed up look.

On another note, I can't believe that it's already May tomorrow. I feel like the months are going by so quickly, it feels like the year just changed. So crazy to think that already 1/3 of 2019 is behind.



//Saatiin nauttia viime viikolla  jopa todella kesäisistä säistä ja tää asu löytyi päältä yhtenä päivänä. Pääsin testaamaan kuukausi sitten kesää varten ostamiani sandaaleita. Yhdistin ne kietaisumallisen maxi mekon kanssa ja niistä muodostuikin aika kiva kombo. Nää nudet korolliset sandaalit sopii muutenkin lähestulkoon kaiken kanssa. Värin puolesta ne sopii kaiken mun vaatekaapista löytyvän kanssa ja simppeli tyyli sopii myös niin arkisiin kuin juhlavampiinkin asuihin. 

Asiasta toiseen, en voi uskoa, että huomenna on jo toukokuu. Kuukaudet tuntuu menevän ohi ihan hujauksessa, vastahan vuosi vaihtui. Tuntuu niin hullulta, että 1/3 osa  koko tästä vuodesta on jo takanapäin.

Spring Favourites 2019

L'Occitane Cherry Blossom review

I received these L'Occitane products already in the winter, but I wanted to wait for spring before sharing my thoughts about them. One thing that applies to all of these products is that they are perfect for spring! They have a super fresh and floral scent which is just lovely for this time of the year.

As I said above, the scent is perfect for spring. It smells really fresh but isn't too strong, so it's really nice for everyday use.

This one makes you feel super fresh! The scent makes your shower moment feel like a spa, which in my opinion is really nice! Only minus is that sometimes it's hard to open it with wet hands.

This one doesn't only moisturise your skin but also gives it a nice sparkle, since there's some glitter in it. Makes the skin feel nicely soft and moisturised and doesn't take too long to sink in.

Black & Floral

If you saw my post What I wore in Munich, you might recognise the jacket in this outfit. It's actually a dress but because of the way it's made, as mentioned on that post it can be used as a jacket / cardigan. I actually think I like wearing it this way more than as a dress. This time I styled it with a black midi dress, pointed toe ballerinas and a straw bag. What do you think about this outfit?

What I wear in a week / 7 Modest spring outfits

Spring look

I thought that I won't use any of my winter clothes and shoes anymore, but last weekend when we had a bit of cooler days here, I decided to wear my over the knee boots for that one last time. I paired the boots with grey jeans and sweater dress. The sweater dress was my go to piece during the winter and it's also perfect for those a bit chillier spring days. What do you think about this outfit?


//Luulin että olisin päässyt jo pistämään kaikki talvikamppeet odottamaan ensi talvea, mutta viime viikonloppuna hieman viileämpien säiden iskiessä päädyin vielä kertaalleen käyttämään ylipolven saappaita. Saappaat yhdistin harmaisiin farkkuihin ja neulemekkoon. Kyseinen neulemekko oli yks mun luotto vaatteista talvella ja se onkin myös täydellinen vähän viileämpinä kevätpäivinä! What I wore in Munich

If you read my Thursday's post, you know that I did a day trip to Munich a bit over a week ago. This outfit is what I wore on that day and I think it's quite cute. I bought the dress few weeks ago from sale, so not only was it cheap, but it can also be worn as a light weight jacket/cardigan! This time I styled it with some grey jeans, black loafers and a denim jacket. I'm sure you'll see me styling it in many different ways this spring and summer!


//Jos luit mun torstain postauksen, niin tiedätkin jo että kävin päiväreissulla Münchenissä hieman yli viikko sitten. Nyt olisikin vuorossa asukuvia kyseiseltä päivältä. Ostin kuvissa näkyvän mekon pari viikkoa sitten alesta ja se ei ollut ainoastaan halpa, vaan sitä voi myös käyttää kevyenä takkina! Tällä kertaa yhdistin sen harmaisiin farkkuihin, mustiin loafereihin ja farkkutakkiin. Tuunkin varmasti stailaamaan kyseistä vaatetta monella eri tavalla tänä keväänä ja kesänä!

Munich photo diary

We did a little day trip to Munich on Saturday and I though that I'd share with you some pics that I took there. We were supposed to have 6 hours to explore the city but our bus ended up leaving back to Nuremberg an hour late. That didn't leave us more time to explore though, just made our trip back home longer.

I think Munich is a really beautiful city, but I did not expect it to be so crowded. I'm not the biggest fan of crowded places, but I still enjoyed our little trip. We didn't have that much of a plan for what to do, we just walked around and explored the city that way. At some point we went to eat at Vapiano and later on we went to have some macarons from this place called Maelu.



//Tehtiin pieni päiväretki Müncheniin viikonloppuna ja ajattelin nyt jakaa muutaman kuvan mitä tuli otettua. Tarkoitus oli viettää Münchenissä kuusi tuntia paikkoja katselemassa, mutta meidän bussi lähtikin takaisin Nürnbergiin tunnin myöhässä. Tää ei tosin antanut meille aikaa tehdä mitään lisää kyseisessä kaupungissa, ennemminkin vain teki paluu matkasta pidemmän.

Mun mielestä München oli kaupunkina tosi kaunis, mutta yllätyin siitä miten paljon ihmisiä siellä oli. En ole mikään tungoksen kovin ystävä, mutta siitä huolimatta meidän pikku matka oli todella kiva. Me tutustuttiin Müncheniin kävelemällä ympäriinsä ilman mitään sen kummempia suunnitelmia. Välissä käytiin Vapianossa syömässä ja myöhemmin haettiin vielä macaronssit Maelu nimisestä kahvilasta. 

Grey x Pink

Last week I met with another blogger here in Nürnberg and we went to a cafe and to take pictures together. We actually first met through Instagram and I think it's such a great way to find like minded people, especially when you are moving to a new country where you know no one.

We had a bit of a chillier spring day, so I wore a grey turtle neck jumper with some grey wide leg trousers. I paired them with pink scarf, trench coat and sneakers to make the whole look feel more spring appropriate.



//Viime viikolla tapasin toisen bloggaajan kanssa täällä Nürnbergissä ja käytiin kahvilla sekä ottamassa kuvia yhdessä. Tutustuttiin Instagramin kautta ja sen avulla onkin mun mielestä todella kätevää löytää ja tutustua saman henkisiin ihmisiin, varsinkin näin ulkomaille muuttaessa kun ei tunne vielä ketään.

Kyseinen päivä oli hieman viileämpi, joten päälle päätyi harmaa neule yhdessä harmaiden leveälahkeisten housujen kanssa. Yhdistin ne vaaleanpunaiseen takkiin, kenkiin ja huiviin, mitkä toi asuun kivaa kevät fiilistä.
